Driven by a desire to create something truly special, Inspiration for the Sanchia label is drawn from our laid-back lifestyle and beautiful beaches which invoke feelings of freedom, vitality and fun. The designs are beautiful in fit and delicate in detailing. They flaunt and flatter the female form, following and accentuating natural curves, lines and drape.
Garments are all made from natural fabrics such as cotton voiles, linens and silks and are available in fresh vibrant colours. Sanchia is proud to claim that all garments are designed and ethically made in Australia.
The Designer
Sanchia was born in Penrith, NSW in 1980 and spent most of her childhood in regional NSW before moving to Queensland in the mid-nineties. After completing her secondary education in 1997 Sanchia briefly studied early-childhood teaching before enrolling in the fashion program run at the Moreton Institute of TAFE, graduating in 2003 with an Advanced Diploma in Fashion Design. In the years that followed Sanchia worked with many fashion labels, including the Colorado Group, gaining invaluable experience and inspiration from the industry she has grown to love. In 2009 Sanchia launched her self-titled fashion label, the culmination of vast experience and a life-long desire to create unique and powerful fashion. Sanchia’s distinct creative vision has created a label she is proud to place her own name on and a label others will be proud to wear.
Sanchia currently resides in South-east Queensland with her husband and two young sons.
